A volunteer football coach at Simsbury High School, Schulitz said he has gotten involved in town committees in recent years, including the Sustainability Committee and as a board member for youth sports. He has previously worked in insurance. Cost of living is a priority for Schulitz, and he said he wants to make things more affordable for both the state and local residents.
