Absentee Ballots

If you have a valid Connecticut DMV ID, you can complete your absentee ballot request online!

  • Absentee Ballot Applications are available from the Simsbury Town Clerk or to print at home  by clicking here 

  • If voting absentee, please return the application to the Town Clerk’s Office as soon as possible via mail or Ballot Drop-box located at the entrance of Simsbury Town Hall

  • Be sure to enclose your voted ballot in the “B” envelope, sign and seal the “B” envelope, and place it in the “C”/mailing envelope labeled with the Town Clerk’s name and address.

  • Voted absentee ballots can be returned via mail or Ballot Drop-box located at Town Hall.

  • Polls will be open on Election Day (November 5th) from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. if you prefer to vote in person.

Early Voting

Early voting will take place in the Simsbury Public Library's Tariffville Room on the dates and times below:

  • October 21st-28th from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.,

  • October 29 and October 31 from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.,

  • October 30 and November 1-3 from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Simsbury Public Library, Tariffville Room
