My name is Mike Schulitz and I am running to represent Simsbury as the State Representative of the 16th House District.

I have been a resident of Simsbury for over twenty years. In my professional life, I have held leadership positions in several insurance companies and investment firms located in Connecticut; including MetLife, Prudential, Lincoln Financial, and Voya. I have considerable experience in budgeting, financial planning, fiscal discipline, and setting as well as achieving financial goals.
 
I am an active volunteer in the Simsbury community having served - or currently serving on - the Simsbury Sustainability Committee; Simsbury High School Gridiron Club; and Simsbury youth football as well as Simsbury High School Football as a coach.
